This book is dedicated to everyone...not only to children, but also to parents, teachers, and anyone who believes that kindness and empathy can truly change the world. We believe that empathy begins in childhood. It’s the time when we can most naturally talk about diversity, acceptance, and love.

Tamitos – Tale of Understanding doesn’t shout the word autism. Instead, it gently whispers about understanding, love, and acceptance - values that we should all carry into our daily lives. It’s a magical story, filled with emotion, colors, and wonder.

Inspired by Real-Life Sisters

The story is inspired by our two daughters...by the way they perceive each other, communicate, and grow together. It’s also about that sibling whose life changes too - learning patience, compassion, and a deeper kind of love.

The Tamitos: Companions of the Heart

The Tamitos play an important role in this universe. They represent the emotional spectrum of autism - the feelings, the fears, the ways of experiencing the world. They are helpers and companions who walk the journey together with the girls. They are friends without whom the spectrum would not exist.

All proceeds from the book will go to the Tamitos Foundation, supporting autism awareness, family programs, and community centers. This book carries a deep message — one that we hope will touch your heart. Because understanding begins with a story.
