TAMITOS RUN 2026

On a bright September Saturday, 350 people came to the Danube riverfront in Bratislava and ran for something other than a personal best. Some ran five kilometres, some ran ten, and the youngest ones ran the kids race with their parents alongside them.

Every entry fee went into one pot. When the last runner crossed the line, that pot held 6 000 €, and all of it went to three families raising children on the autism spectrum. Not to overheads, not to next year’s marketing. To three families.

TAMITOS RUN was never meant to be only a race. It is the one day in the year when the families we normally write about in books and films are simply out in the open, together with everyone else, on the same course.
